A GX25 4-stroke engine pumps 140 litres a minute with 3.6 bar of pressure and 1hour 20 minutes running time. An ideal choice for homeowners, gardeners and boat owners, our Lightweight water pumps are perfectly compact and easy to transport; they also push out good volume and distance when you need it. And when the job's done, they're easily stored away.
A compact water pump for around the home. When you need strong and reliable water pressure, our Lightweight pumps will get the job done.
Water where you need it. Getting it from A to B with no problems in between.
A sealed system. An effective pump must create a partial vacuum.
What makes Honda Lightweight water pumps so effective is the craftsmanship of the hose seals and O-rings - they ensure air can't be drawn in, which causes the all important vacuum to be lost. The impeller-to-volute clearance has also been designed in this way. It all means they not only have an impressive flow rate and pressure - but they can keep it up; they can go for up to 1h30 before you need to add more petrol.
Pushing power. Also known as "total head";, it's the maximum height the pump can force water from suction head to discharge head. Honda Lightweight pumps can push it up to 40m – that's around the length of four buses parked end to end. That's far, far away.
The name Lightweight refers only to their size, not power - they can move 140 litres a minute. Perfect for simple jobs. It's made possible by their hard-working 4-stroke engines that push out up to 7000 rpm; that's pretty exceptional for their size.
If water gets near the engine, things can quickly gush downhill. Our Lightweight water pumps use mechanical seals - they're hard-wearing and durable, and keep the water away. These pumps can also handle small bits of debris up to 3mm in size - there's a strainer to make sure nothing bigger gets through.
Come rain or shine, our OHV 4-stroke engines won't let you down. But especially come rain.
As you'd expect from a Honda, the water pump engines are reliable, they have low emissions and low vibration – automatic decompression makes them so quick and easy to start.
Hardwearing and durable, our water pumps don't mind the odd bump, either. The WX 10 even has a specialised 360º lubrication system, which lets it work at any angle – even if it's knocked on to its side. It's not fussy.
The reason for its popularity? It was one of the most economical and dependable bikes around. But Mr. Honda wasn't finished there. Not by a long way. And so nowadays Honda's heritage of engineering is put to good use in lots of other things - lawn mowers, generators, and water pumps.
We've used our experience in building dependable motor vehicles to design our water pumps. They're built to handle some of the toughest conditions out there, and they're very good at it. But their performance is nothing without the reliability that sits snugly at their core. It's what makes a Honda, a Honda.
A watertight warranty, Like Honda water pumps, a Honda warranty is the best you can get.
