The Evopower UKC210ECO is powered by a Cummins 6CTA8.3-G2 engine, for standby use it has a maximum power of 210kVA or 165kW, it also a prime or constant power unit that offers 188kVA 150kW. Standby (ESP) and Prime Power (PPR) ratings are defined within ISO8528. Using a high-quality LK274G brushless alternator is self-excited and includes an AVR (automatic voltage regulator) to prevent voltage drop due to increased loads
Coming with a heavy-duty weatherproof canopy enclosure that is rustproof, powder coated and fitted with quality sound attenuation. The noise level is only 70 dB at a 7-metre distance. There are also stainless steel fittings are used for all door hinges and locks.
Designed in the UK, using Evopower’s vast experience building power equipment. All of the ECO series generators are much more than an engine and alternator, using high-quality components in all of their gensets such as DSE (Deep Sea Electronics) control panels, Varta batteries, CHiNT 4 pole MCCB breakers, industrial-grade silencers, Cummins engines also Genpower custom alternator.
The Evopower UKC210ECO 210kVA Cummins powered diesel generator has an integral base mounted bunded fuel tank which holds 328 litres of diesel and you can also use red diesel to reduce cost. You will get 8hrs runtime at 100% load, 16hrs at 50% (based on prime power rating). The fuel cap is lockable and filters are in an easy-access place within the canopy.
Mounted on a heavy-duty skid with forklift slots, also comes with easy unloading/moving and hook eyes to help keep the machine stable while transporting or lifting into position. The Evopower ECO range offer as standard both battery charger and cooler heater as standard.

The Evopower UKC210ECO generator is powered by a well known and world-class Cummins engine that is turbocharged, charge air-cooled and has an intercooler. It runs at 1500RPM to prolong lifespan and maintain 50Hz.
The Cummins 6CTA8.2-G2 diesel engine has 6-cylinders in-line and is an 8.3-litre direct injection that uses high-quality components through-out the build like Fleetwood filters & BYC fuel pump & injectors. Using 27.6 litres of SAE 15W/40 as engine oil is what is recommend and also using a 50/50 mix for the coolant/radiator fluid of 50% water and 50% ethylene glycol (anti-freeze).
Unlike more traditional mechanical governors that can’t be adjusted the Evopower features an electronic governor that regulates the fuel being pumped into the engine, it can adjust the fuel intake quickly as the load is applied to keep the rpm steady at 1500RPM and at 50hz, this, in turn, to help prevent any damage to sensitive electronic equipment you may have.

The entire Evopower ECO range of diesel generators use a Deep Sea Electronics 6120 MKIII control panel. Deep Sea Electronics (DSE). Going back to 1975 DSE have ben making generator control panels, auto transfer switches and battery chargers so you know you are in good hands when DSE are featured within your generator. The DSE6120 control panel in this genset is manufactured within the UK. With an easy to read LED display and ATS compatible as standard meaning that this generator can start/stop automatically once connected to ATS panel. This gives you peace of mind that in an emergency situation you will not be without power for more than a minute or so. We advise when looking at generators as a backup power solution an ATS panel (automatic transfer switch), it connects to the consumer unit the property and the generator, it constantly looks for power coming from the grid, once it knows the power from the grid has gone it will turn the generator on. The starting and stopping of the generator will take around 1min. Once power from the grid is restored it turns the generator off back to standby mode. The DSE control panel has a built-in USB port, you can programme and customise the parameters and modules via a PC once you have downloaded the relevant software from Deep Sea Electronics website. This can also be done directly from the control panel itself via buttons.
The control panel has many built-in features and will notify you with alerts such as.
- low oil pressure - which can lead to a lack of lubrication and engine damage,
- high water temperature - which could be a sign that the radiator airflow is blocked or the water level is low.
- high or low voltage detected - which could signify a problem with the alternator, AVR, or degrading electrical connections and lead to your equipment being damaged.
- High or low frequency or engine over/underspeed - which could signify an issue with the fuel regulation/governor and leads to unstable frequency output.

The full-service schedule can be found within the Cummins manual sent with your Genset. The general guide is to change the lubricant/engine oil every 250 hours or 6 months.
This unit holds 27.6 Litres of lubricant/oil and we recommend using SAE 15W40 engine oil.
For quick reference, we recommend using Fleetguard replacement filters. The relevant filter part numbers for the Cummins 6CTA8.3-G2 engine, used in the UKC210ECO and UKC210ECO-LR generators are:
