Important note:
The Diamond Edge has a volumetric size greater than shown on the pack. This is because the diamond shape/profile of the line has a larger mass area. In the case of 2.4mm this is equivalent to a size 10% greater, therefore the actual volumetric size is 2.64mm. In most cases this makes little or no difference when fitting the line into the strimmer head of a machine designed to run on 2.4mm thickness but I have had a few isolated cases where customers have been concerned that it appears thicker than a conventional square or round shape line. Please do not be put off by this statement as Diamond Edge is one of our best selling trimmer lines.
